THE FEVER
by Wallace Shawn
An American is traveling to an unspecified country in Latin America when, during a feverish night in his hotel, he is confronted with the injustice of the world all at once. In this unrelenting story about capital, class struggle, commodity fetishism, and guilt, we all go along with the protagonist in being forced to come to terms with the horrors of the world and our own roles within that horror.
