ISLAND AT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD

The island of Venchan’s ruler is deposed by a distant king, and the audience are emissaries sent to elect a new ruler friendly to that same king. As they explore the island and meet its inhabitants, they find that the island is on the brink of upheaval and the political situation is more complicated than it appears. This interactive, outdoor performance gives audiences the power to determine the fate of a nation as they are faced with the questions of power: how should it be used? Who should have it?
